Ryan accepted Jesus into his heart at the age of eight. By the age of ten, he had taught himself to play guitar. At fifteen, he felt his calling was to serve in music ministry and formed a group with his cousin. In later years, Ryan stepped away from gospel music to focus on raising his family. He also spent a season pursuing a secular music career, only to discover that it did not provide the fulfillment he found in gospel music. He realized that true fulfillment comes through full surrender to Jesus.

Ryan served as a worship leader for four years before stepping down to pursue his passion for Southern Gospel music. He is excited to join His Redeemed.

 

Ryan and his wife Teri have four children: Steven, Skylar, and twins Shelby and Shauna. His favorite Scripture is Joshua 1:9.
